Sam and Quoc Phan are children’s book illustrators and traditionally trained animation artists with years of experience in the gaming and tech industry. This talented husband-and-wife duo met while studying in San Francisco back in 2003, and have been together ever since, living in the beautiful Bay Area. Their passion for art and storytelling stems from years of watching movies, and studying at the Academy of Art. When they are not illustrating, they both can be found in the kitchen refining their favorite recipes, eating delicious ethnic foods at a food truck, or hiking the many rustic trails that California has to offer. They enjoy traveling abroad whenever they visit family in South America, which is a source of inspiration in their art.
